Stonebridge Gardens (Snake Park)
Stonebridge Gardens in Haggerston is a tranquil hidden gem of a park, just off the busy Kingsland Road.
A small but popular green space, known to locals as Snake Park, it originally takes its name from a stone bridge over the nearby Hackney Brook (now hidden underground).
Refurbished in 2016, Stonebridge Gardens is home to an ever-popular large blue snake mosaic sculpture, which youngsters can climb all over.
The children's playground also contains monkey bars, sand pit, swings, hammocks and trampoline. While a multi-use games area offers facilities for table tennis, basketball and football.
