Grodzinski & Daughters
Known to its loyal customers as 'Grodz', Grodzinski & Daughters has been supplying kosher breads and cakes for over a century.
The Grodzinski family first arrived in England in 1888 from Lithuania and set up shop in Whitechapel, before expanding to six locations including Stamford Hill.
By the mid-1960s it was the largest kosher bakery in Europe, preparing both fine pastries and a range of breads, that were sold in Selfridges, Marks & Spencer and Harrods.
Today, the family business is still going strong, providing a range of mouth-watering delicacies for weddings, birthdays and all manner of celebrations.
