Situated by the River Lea, with views over to Walthamstow Marshes, Leaside delivers a range of inspiring and engaging outdoor activities for young people.
These include canoeing, mountain biking, orienteering and off-site expeditions to Cornwall, Wales and the Lake District.
Young people come to Leaside to have fun, but staff also focus on developing transferable skills that will improve their life chances, encouraging them to stay in education, build confidence, leadership skills and ambition.
There is an after school club every Tuesday and Thursday, from 4.30pm to 6.30pm, and every Saturday, from 9.30am to 12.30pm, for children and young people to enjoy canoeing and mountain biking. Plus school holiday activity programmes.
The centre also runs activity sessions for a wide range of school and community groups in term time.
