Now at the the height of his career, having released tracks produced by Four Tet's Keiran Hebden, Omar Souleyman is hot property in the music scene around the world.

He'll be joined at XOYO, by Habibi Funk, whose collection features all sorts of gems from the Arab world.

Global Roots will be taking over the Green Room - a champion of a broad and eclectic range of local genres. Joining him is British DJ Zakia. Limited tickets avaialble.

Homostash - Fem Edition

Homostash is back in Dalston Superstore with the celebration of fem(ininity)!  Just put your heels and your lipstick on, be yourself for this amazing celebration.

The basement will be filled with hot techo & tech house. Homostash - for homos, straights, boys, girls, inbetweenies, homo sapiens and the moustachioed.

Food styling masterclass

Raw food chef and founder of the The Plant Hub and vegan chef Niki Webster team up in Mare Street to host a Food Styling and Photography workshop.

Learn the basic principles of food styling plus tips and tricks for the perfect Instagram shot. Discover how to grow and work with your online community and take away a delicious goody bag.

The newest garage night returns to Queen of Hoxon in Shoreditch the three-floor fun-house to bring you the smoothest two-step anthems and garage bangers.

This month brings down the scenes biggest names, Oxide & Neutrino.

'Has It Come To This' will step back to the early 2000s, to an era before dubstep, grime and electro, when garage reigned supreme.

The Aussie BBQ

£12. 18+ 11am-11pm, Sun 12 May

The Aussie BBQ London held at Hoxton Square Bar in Hoxton is the largest showcase of Australian music in the UK.

Now in its sixth year, it will take over two stages for 12 hours, featuring over 20 acts including Swayze & The Ghosts, Cable Ties and Nice Biscuit set to take the stage.

Bob Marley Celebration Day

Free. 18+ 6pm-12am, Sun 12 May

Little Italy is a night out with music of various genres brought by an exclusive line-up of Italian artists.

This edition in Grow, Hackney Wick celebrates the king of reggae. DJs will be playing Bob Marley hits plus a guest performance from Raina.

The voice from one of the first Italian reggae bands from Rome.
